About the project ( Synopsis )

Electrical devices play a very important role to the human civilization that begin a long time ago.From that time, many improvement have been done in order to maintain,upgrade and make the devices efficient to all the peoples and surrounding. The electrical protection devices  can make the user to prevent the all valuable devices from damage. The purpose of this project is to give the protection to load from break and damage from under-voltage and over-current based on limitation of the voltage and current using tripping mechanism. Its can be used as a protection to home appliances such as television, computer from under-voltage and over-current as well as fluctuation that caused by sudden failure of the supply. There are many types of electrical protection system that have been build based on different mechanism and concept. Title: Block Diagram Objectives : To illustrate the overall system of the Project To show how the working principle of the project Content : During researching about my project, i have come out with this block diagram Block Diagram Undervoltage and Overcurrent Protective Device Input: AC Input: The protection device will get power from this input Power Supply: In this level, the input from AC input will be step down using step down transformer in order to suit with voltage range in the electronic device. This block included rectifier circuit Process Current Sensor: The main component in order to provide protection against overcurrent fault Preset Voltage: The voltage set to suit with the equipment Output Relay: The relay is as SPDT Relay which activated by the IC7408 via transistor, makes under normal mains supply voltage and brakes under abnormal mains supply voltage.

PROGRESS REPORT WEEK 8

Title: Attending Third FYP1 Briefing On Week 8 Third FYP1 Briefing has been held on week 8  12th April at TTL2 3-5pm. The topic for this briefing is focusing on Methodology and Results  & Discussion Writing For FYP Report. This briefing is presented by Dr Imran. I have attended this briefing as the attendant is compulsory to the FYP1 student. Title : Research and Finding In this week, Sir Azman registered my name and the title of the project under his supervision to the FYP coordinator and FYP website. I should be able to check the application status on the fyp UniKL BMI website (  FYP unikl bmi Website  ). When my name appear on the website, i officially under the supervision of Sir Azman  for my FYP for the two semester. As my supervisor , Sir Azman will guide me in the project as recommend approaches, tehcniques and appropriate method to achieve the project objectives. A succesful project needs to have the right steps and approaches for it to be success. I come with the flowchart showing the process and steps that i have to take.
